10/7/2009 THANKS FOR A GREAT SUMMER! Thank you so much to everyone who came out and supported us during the Summer Festival Season. It was Elf Lettuce's busiest summer yet, highlighted by big shows at 10KLF, Summerfest in Milwaukee, Big Wu Family Reunion X, Bella Madre Fest at Harmony Park, and many more! We got to play for a lot of good ol' family, as well as new friends of the Lettuce and we couldn't have had a better time while doing so. As we take a short break from the road, we're working on putting the finishing touches on our new live album and working some new tunes into the mix. In the coming months, we'll be doing some shows around The Upper Midwest and, as always, playing every Monday at Madison's. After the holiday season we'll be hitting the road toward those new horizons once again, bringing the live show to many new friends! Once again, THANK YOU all so much for your support always, we couldn't be doing what we do without all of you . . . we'll see you soon. 5/18/2009 FESTIVAL SEASON IS HERE!! Long story short, we had a blast last weekend! The Mousetrap--Eau Claire: probably our best show ever at The Trap, thanks everyone for showing us a great time! Appleton was a riot, definitely made some new friends, and can't wait to travel back there. And Saturday night was our return to IQ's, one of our favorite spots in Green Bay, and we couldn't have asked for a better crowd. Thanks for capping off our weekend right, Titletown! Thanks for all the love last weekend, it really gave us some good momentum going into Bella Madre Fest -- our first festival of the summer! Hope to see you all out and about this weekend or sometime in the near future! 3/5/2009 SPRING TOUR->SUMMER Hey everyone, we're getting geared up for 2 shows this weekend with our good friend Mark on the keyboards 3/6 in Stevens Point and 3/7 in Green Bay. This will be your only chance to catch Elf Lettuce w/ keyboards for awhile! On the horizon, we have a new live album coming soon that we're very excited about, and plenty of Summer Music Festivals coming our way that are sure to make this a summer to remember! 10/2/2008 FESTIN' IN THE FALL 2008 -- THIS WEEKEND!! Just a heads up, live music lovers, Festin' in the Fall (The Fox Valley's first campout music fest EVER) is happening Oct. 3rd, 4th, and 5th this weekend at 4 different venues throughout the Fox Valley. Elf Lettuce will perform on Oct. 4th, but the first night of the festival, Oct. 3rd, is looking to be a night to remember. On 10/3, Willie Beamon's Bar in Neenah will host Moon Boot Posse, Ra Fury, Little Marsh Overflow, and Greyleaf, and that's just the first night! With a disc golf tournament recently added on 10/4, this is going to be a festival you don't want to miss!! 9/22/2008 THANKS FOR A GREAT HARVEST! Hey everyone, sorry there hasn't been much time to update the website lately . . . the road keeps us busy! Want to give a shout out to Mark and all the awesome staff at Sunny Sky Farm for making Community Supported Agriculture a reality and for welcoming us back to the Harvest Party for the 3rd consecutive year! Also mad props to Insomniac Gypsy for showing us how string band music is played right! Always a blast with that crew . . . More highlights from the weekend were performing at UW Memorial Union Terrace w/ The Clyde Stubblefield show on Sunday. Couldn't ask for a much better time, thanks everyone for coming out and supporting! 7/9/2008 Three Special Shows with Keyboards! We welcome our friend Mark Breunig back to the keys for three special shows this weekend! We'll kick it off with an all-night show on Thursday July 10th @ Cafe Montmartre in Madison and then head north to Waupaca to Chain o' Lakes Bar & Grill. Lots of amazing music going on! Looking forward to seeing everyone kicking it in the summertime! Elfo Lechuga en el verano . . .

6/12/2008 NO SHOW @ NAUTICAL INN ON 6/13 Scheduling glitch . . . catch some really amazing bands @ this show, and look for jams and concerts in the streets! 5/13/2008 A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS! It brings us great pleasure to announce the latest member of Elf Lettuce. We warmly welcome Eli Reichenberger to the bass! He'll be taking over the low end of the rhythm section for Alex, who will be switching to guitar. We're very excited about this latest development in the band and we're loving the newer and fuller sound already! Eli brings a great musical personality, energy, and stage presence to the group and is fitting in amazingly. We've also been awarded the honor of opening for the Clyde Stubblefield band for Funky Mondays at Madison's on King Street next to the Majestic Theater. And with another recording session coming up on Tuesday, it's shaping up to be a productive and rewarding summer! Be in touch! 2/18/2008 GREAT TIMES HAD BY ALL! Just got back from an amazing weekend of live music in the north country. Big thanks to everyone in Eau Claire and Duluth for greeting us with open arms and allowing the Lettuce to rock out! Jacob also got to lay down some lead guitar in the studio for Prince Paul and the Conscious Party's upcoming album . . . roots rock reggae!! We will also be heading up to Sturgeon Bay for the fourth annual Steel Bridge Song Fest in June. Support your local music festival! Currently we're off the road for a month and recording a few new tracks for our upcoming EP, so be on the lookout for some new music on the internet soon (we promise!). Take care everyone, and stay warm! 1/21/2008 HAPPY NEW YEAR! We're going into the studio tomorrow to record a new track for your listening pleasure, and we'll be revving up the engine to journey about this frozen land called the Midwest for more of Winter Tour '08. See you on the road! 11/27/2007 NYE HAS MOVED . . . There's been a slight change of plans, and the Bash has been moved to Mr. Robert's just a few blocks down from Glass Nickel. But due to time constraints, Elf Lettuce will not be able to perform. But there will be entertainment brought to you by Warm Wet Rag: A Tribute to Ween, and Run Side Down. For those of you who haven't yet created a profile, you can do so @ creativecollectivity.com. Never heard of Leftover Bags?? Visit leftoverbags.com to find out about the remarkable movement they've started. Thanks again for all the terrific support everyone! 9/12/2007 We welcome a new drummer to the family! We'd like to welcome Mr. Joe Murray to the drum kit as the newest member of Elf Lettuce. Joe recently moved to Madison from Green Bay, and was the perfect addition to the band, having been part of the Green Bay "leaf" of Elf Lettuce family for quite some time. We're excited to have him and know you will be too. Eric will remain a regular member of Elf Lettuce on drum kit & percussion as his work schedule allows. Damn careers - makin' people get all serious and stuff!! Until next time . . . 8/31/2007 Thanks a ton, Feel Gooders and Grateful Voluteers! A big belated Thank-you to everyone who made all the great festivals happen this summer - from 10k Lakes to the Garcia Gathering to the Feel Good Festival - they really would not be possible without all of your love and support. And the good news is they're still not over. We've still got Harvest Fest, new earth festival, boats and bluegrass and many more to come, so we'll see you out and about this fall!! |
